Youth bashed up for hurling love letter at school girl

Udupi, Oct 2, 2014 : A youth of north India origin who was among two persons who tried to hand over a love letter to a school girl, got a good bashing from local residents at Katapady Agrahara on October 1, Wednesday morning.
The accused have been identified as Sajab and Shoheb of Uttar Pradesh. The two who stayed in a rented house adjacent to the house of the girl, a student of a local private educational institution, had on Wednesday morning hurled the love letter towards her as soon as she sat in her school vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, who came to know about this, stopped the vehicle and chased the duo along with locals. Finally, they managed to get hold of one of the duo and handed him over to police after beating him up black and blue.
There is information that the police have arrested the other accused too.
A case has been registered as per a complaint lodged by the mother of the student.
