Youth Congress Chief Mithun Rai defends Minister Ramanatha Rai

Mangaluru, June 21, 2017 : District Youth Congress President Mithun Rai has come out in strong support of DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai who has reportedly instructed the DK SP to arrest RSS leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat.
Speaking to reporters here on June 21, Wednesday, Mithun said Minister Rai has done the right thing as Bhat is known for his hate speeches.
He also declared that he would quit politics if anyone points out at least one speech of Kalladka Bhat that promotes communal harmony. At the same time Mithun was all praise for Ramanatha Rai saying he was always away from politics of communal nature.
Mithun charged Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat, BJP and Sangh Parivar of misusing voters for personal gains.
Regarding a so called Bajrangdal man from Mandya threatening to break Rai’s limbs, Mithun Rai said the Youth Congress would deal with the person through legal means by filing cases against him in all police stations of the district.
