Mangaluru, Jan 11, 2017: According to a media information received, Yenepoya University will hold a Narco-analysis and Brain Mapping Medico-legal workshop from 18th January through 20th January, 2017, it is stated.


Yenepoya 11Narco-analysis procedures and techniques, psychological profiling and brain mapping methods, medico-legal issues, public health concerns, human rights and legal validity for evidence generated will be dealt with and deliberated during the workshop. The workshop will be attended by police officials, customs, para-military, defense forces, public health experts, forensic analysts, civil society, journalists, lawyers, enforcement directorate representatives and intelligence officials.


 International collaborators for the workshop are University of Porto, Portugal, Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, USA, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Teesside University, UK, The Smile Train, USA, Oxford Gene Technology, UK and the Nobel College and Nobel Hospital Pvt Ltd, Nepal.


The guests who would be coming for the workshop are S. Rajkumar IRS, Chief Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax, Mysore Zone, Shri. M. Chandrashekar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru City, Shri. C.
