Udupi, Sep 18, 2017 : State BJP President and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has not taken any decision on contesting the next assembly elections from a constituency in North Karnataka, said Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje.
The clarification comes in the wake of some reports stating that Yeddyurappa might contest from North Karnataka.
Speaking to reporters here, Shobha said there are requests from different districts for Yeddyurappa to contest from there. But he is no mood to contest in any constituency other than his home constituency Shivamogga. He is still in a dilemma. But, he would register a big win wherever he contests, said Shobha.
On CM Siddaramaiah changing his constituency, Shobha said the CM is facing inevitability as Varuna has already gone out of his hand. He will face defeat in whichever constituency he contests, Shobha observed.
On DySP Ganapathi case, she alleged that the state government has hushed up all records through CID officials who are even threatening Ganapathi family. The hands of the chief minister and State Minister George is evident, she alleged.
