Yadgir, Dec 12, 2017 : B.S.Yeddyurappa, BJP state president, has demanded a probe by the National Investigating Agency (NIA) into the alleged murder of Sangh Parivar activist Paresh Mesta at Honnavar of Uttar Kannada district.
Speaking to reporters in Yadgir before leaving for Surpur as part of Parivarthan Yatra on Tuesday, he attacked Congress for the increase in crime, partcularly “murders of Hindutva activists”. “No doubt the Congress is behind such incidents,” he charged.
Asked about the Mesta’s autopsy report, Mr. Yeddyurappa alleged that the Congress was “instigating officials to get favourable reports”.
He also critisized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for holding achievement rallies by using public money. “Though Mr. Siddaramaiah has not fulfilled the promised made, he is misleading the public by holding rallies,” he claimed.
