Women’s cricket teams to play promotional matches at CPL

Mangaluru, May 09, 2019:  Two women’s teams will be playing promotional matches during the CPL cricket tournament  to be held under the aegis of Coastalwood artistes and technicians.

 

The women’s teams namely Coastalwood Queens and Leads Divas will play  the promotional matches at the Sahyadri Engineering College Grounds  in the event to be held from May 10 to 12. Rakshitha Rai, Captain of Coastalwood Queens said  the women’s teams will play regular matches  if the promotional matches prove successful.

The Jersey and poster of CPL team Challenging Stars were released on the occasion.

Sandeep Shetty, owner of Challenging stars and Coastalwood queens   exuded confidence that the teams would put up a good performance this time.

Players Advika, Vishwas Gurupur, Chaitra were present among others.
