Woman, 3 yr daughter from Kundapur die in Bengaluru road mishap

Kundapur, Sep 15, 2018:  A  hit and run case  at Bengaluru  has claimed the lives of a woman  from Vends in Kundapur and her three year old daughter. The woman’s husband was also injured in the mishap.


The deceased are Surekha (30), wife of Raghu and  their daughter  Aradhya. The couple who hailed from Kundapur  lived in a rented house  in the capital where  Raghu operated a bakery close by his house.

On September 13, the family of three had been to Byatarayanapura to offer Pooja at a relative’s house on the occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi. When they were returning  and were near the Lumbini garden, a  vehicle hit their two wheeler from the rear. Surekha and the child who fell on the road were run over by the same vehicle which fled the spot soon after the mishap.

Sometimes the people behave so merciless that the accident happens i a fraction of second at least be courteous to make first aid to the injured. So sad. RIP
