Wife of Ilyas seeks justice in open letter ; threatens to end life

Mangaluru, Jan 16, 2018: Farzana, the wife of the notorious criminal Ilyas who was hacked to death at his residence at Jeppu recently, has written an open letter to the police wherein she has sought justice to her husband. Ilyas was said to be associated with the dreaded Target Group of Ullal which was wanted in connection with several criminal cases.

In her letter Farzana has demanded that her husband’s killers must get maximum punishment.

She has also threatened to end her life by hanging herself if justice was not meted out to her.

As per the letter by Farzana, Ilyas had sworn in her presence a few days earlier that he would not involve in criminal acts. She states that a friend of Ilyas named Dawood was against this and threatened to kill Ilyas and had also claimed that he had the support of Safwan, Usman and Rahim Manchila.

She has also warned that the police will themselves be held responsible in case she resorts to any extreme step.
