Wall collapse kills 2 yr old child at Beluvai

Karkala, Aug 02, 2014:  In a tragic incident, a two year old child was killed when the  wall of a house collapsed due to heavy rains and strong winds at Kaje Banglegudde   in Beluvai during the early hours of August 2, Saturday.

The deceased  child is  Sai Bhuvan, son of Sanjay and Shruthi.The family  was fast asleep when a large part of the wall collapsed over the child killing him on the spot.

Sanjay was staying in the rented house of his employer since the past four years. His employer Surendra Nayak was a timber merchant and Sanjay was a lorry driver with him.

Sai Bhuvan was the only child of the couple.

Local MLA  V sunil Kumar, former MLA Gopal Bhandari, Tahsildar Raghavendra  and others visited the place and consoled the grieving family.

Udupi District Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake is also likely to meet the bereaved family.
