Udupi, May 18,2017 : Udupi District Youth Congress now has a new Chief. Vishwas V Amin has been elected unopposed as District Youth Congress President.

Vishwas who hails from Padubidri  is a B.E degree holder in Electronics and Communication. He has also the experience of serving as the Youth Congress Chief of Kaup.   Vishwas is the son of Padubidri Panchayat President Damayanthi Amin and  former president  of the same panchayat Vijay A Amin. The post of General Secretary of District Youth Congress has gone to Vighnesh Kini.

Youth Congress Chiefs for various assembly constituency units of the party have also been elected. They are Prashanth Poojary (Udupi), Melwyn D’Souza (Kaup), Shekhar Poojary (Byndoor) and Deepak Kotian (Karkala).
