Vinayak Baliga Murder: J R Lobo, the MLA doesn’t care a damn! Why MP, Nalinkumar is keeping quite?

Mangalore Today News Network

Mangaluru, April 09, 2016:  Twenty days have passed after the cold blooded murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga by contract killers. It is surprising to note that the Mangaluru MLA, J R Lobo didn’t utter a word of concern or condolence in the gory murder of the RTI activist who fought for the public interest against crooks and corrupt officials. DK- MP, Nalinkumar Kateel’s unprecedented silence leads to much suspicion and speculations.

Lobo-Nalin-Bal...

RTI activist Vinayak Baliga was murdered in the wee hours of March 21, Monday. He was on his way to the temple on his scooter, when two persons waylaid him close to his house in PVS Kalakunju Road at Kodialbail and attacked him with sharp weapons. He was left there bleeding to die. Though he was taken to the hospital, he died on the way.

The police have already arrested two persons, Vineeth Poojary and Nishith Devadiga said to be the contract killers who executed the murder plot. The police have launched a hunt for Srikanth and Shiva alias Shivu said to be accomplices in this case. Srikanth had reportedly contacted Shivu to engage the contract killers. The police have now narrowed down to a Sangh Parivar linked Yuva Brigade founder, Naresh Shenoy, as the mastermind and prime suspect.

A look out notice has been issued for the three culprits: Naresh Shenoy, Srikant and Shivu (both happened to be employees of Naresh Shenoy) All the three are absconding since the day of the gory murder. There are unconfirmed news that Shiva is already in the police custody.

Janardhana-Poo...

What has happened to the political parties, especially Congress and BJP which used to take to the street for silly issues; ignored the gory murder or have they considers it a non-issue.  The all time vociferous former central minister, Janardhana Poojary did not utter a word on the murder of the RTI activist. It is quite unlike of him who would have been the first to visit the victim’s house and offer condolence and relief.

There are more to the murder than just a stray incident. May be, there are more conspiracies and contradictions and more stake with many others in this crime. Hope justice will be done.
