Kasargod, Feb 18, 2015:  Renowned Sunni scholar, religions leader and President

of Samastha Kerala, MA Abdul Khader Musliyar  passed away on February 17, Tuesday night.

 

Veteran Sunni scholar, Samastha Kerala Chief MA Ustad passes away

He was 91. Popularly known as MA Ustad, he resided at Trikkaripura Udumbathila in Kasargod.


Ustad was a member of the Samastha Kerala Jamayyatul Ulema since 1946  and became its President in 2014.


He  was the Founder Member of Samastha Kerala Islamic Religious Education Board in 1951 and Jamiyyatul Muslimeen in 1958.


He was also serving various other organizations and  is survived by his wife, two daughters, a son and a large bandwagon of followers in Kerala as well as Karnataka.
