Mangaluru, Sep 10, 2018 : In a curious development, Congress workers chased the car of Mangaluru  South MLA Vedavyas Kamath near the Jyothi Circle on September 10, Monday.

The incident took place when the MLA’s car was passing  through the road where the  Congress workers were staging a  protest and were shouting slogans.  Reportedly, the protestors tried to stop the MLA’s car when the latter   got down  following which there was heated exchange of words. The MLA reportedly  expressed his unhappiness over the ’forcible’ bundh. In the meantime, the MLA also had a war or words with  the City Police Commissioner. Soon after Congress workers present at the venue reportedly chased the MLA’s car.
