Use of fake passes in sand smuggling racket : 2 arrested

Kasargod, Dec 17,2016 : Kasargod Police have arrested two persons involved in a sand smuggling racket by using fake passes.
The arrested are Raju (42) from Kanhangad and Sharath (27) from Bedadka. A laptop, printer and fake ID cards, Aadhar card etc have been seized from the house of the prime accused in the case Majal Ashraf from Puttur who however managed to flee during the raid.
The raid followed the detection of several fake passes in a lorry which was seized by the police on November 29 after its driver fled the place. Cops suspect a huge mafia behind this mafia.
