Uppinangady, March 21, 2020:  The driver of an LPG tanker sustained serious injuiries after the tanker overturned  on the National Highway 75 at Lavathadka near here on Friday. The driver reportedly lost control over the vehicle resulting in the mishap.

The injured driver Sharavana of Tamil Nadu has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. The tanker was on way to  Bengaluru from Mangaluru when the mishap took place.  Luckily there was no  gas leakage. The vehicle had overturned on the roadside  thereby not causing disruption in vehicular traffic.
