Ullal cops arrest duo for fake promises of medical seats in exchange for hefty sum

Mangaluru, September 18, 2016: Ullal Police have arrested two persons on the charges of  swindling several people of lakhs of rupees by promising medical seats in some prestigious colleges of Mangaluru. 

Those arrested are Sanjeeva Kumar R (45), a resident of Erod in Tamil Nadu and BC Timmayya (34) from Biligere village in Madikeri district. Police have seized Rs 37.50 lakhs from  the accused.

Interrogations of the duo revealed that they had  cheated  as many as 16  people of Tamil Nadu orgin.

In a press communique, the Police Departent has asked public not to fall prey to the lurings  of fraudulent people who promise medical seats in exchange for hefty amount.

The institutions never give the right to any body to collect the fees and offer seats. In spite knowing and hearing we fall into ditch
