Mangaluru, Nov 07, 2020:     A chain snatcher who snatched the chain of  a woman at Bagambila road in Ullal was apprehended by the police within three hours of the incident on  November 6, Friday. The arrested person is Sultan (28), an employee at a hotel in Derlakatte.

He had snatched the chain of a woman named Nisha who was returning home from work on Friday evening. Sultan who was in his bullet bike  snatched the chain from behind. The incident was captured in a CCTV camera and based on the footage  the police who immediately swung into action arrested  the accused  when he was about to enter a bar. The swift action of the Ullal cops in this case has won a lot of praise.
