Udupi : Two dead as pick-up rams into sign board at Ambagilu

Udupi, June 18, 2020:  Two persons including the driver of a pick-up vehicle  lost their lives when the vehicle  rammed into a sign board  near the National Highway 66 at Ambagilu on June 18, Thursday. The pick-up vehicle was on way to the APMC  to purchase vegetables when the accident occurred.

 

 

The deceased is Dinesh (37), a resident of Moorukai of Kundapur and Manjunath (26). Dinesh was involved in vegetable business  and was  on way to Adi Udupi APMC market to purchase vegetables at wholesale rate. It is believed that   he was   a bit sleepy resulting in the mishap.  The front portion of the vehicle was completely damaged in the mishap.  If Dinesh died on the spot, Manjunath  breathed his last at the hospital.
