Udupi, Dec 15, 2015:  Udupi District Superintendent of Police Annamalai has requested the public not to pay heed to rumours regarding his reported transfer.


Udupi SPIn a communique  in the backdrop of the rumours, he has also requested the public not to  protest in any way.

He further made it clear that transfers take place routinely  at the behest of the government.

Annamalai through his efficient style of functioning has already won the commendation of the public and is a very popular police officer known for his people friendly approach.

In the meantime, it has been gathered that  some organisations were planning silent protests against the  alleged moves to transfer the SP.

For the sincere officers this is the reward given by our Government. Our politics is corrupted and only we are corrupt we can enter inter POLITICS. The public has right to protest as our is DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY.
