Udupi, Nov 12, 2019: Udupi Town Police Station Sub-Inspector Ananthapadmanabha and a head constable have been suspended by Udupi SP Nisha James on the charges of dereliction of duty in connection with the recent Bhujanga Park incident wherein a group assaulted three youngsters who were talking with a girl.
A case was filed at the Udupi Town Police Station on November 5 in connection with this incident wherein the photos of the young woman as well as one of the youth who was subject to assault were also downloaded from Facebook and posted on WhatsApp. It was also alleged that photos of the assault incident were also clicked.
