Udupi : Pre-Paryaya ritual Baale Muhurtha performed

Udupi, Dec 04, 2016  :   The Pre-Paryaya ritual  Baale Muhurtha was performed at the premises of Phalimar Mutt  on December 4, Sunday. Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji  of Phalimar Mutt, the next Paryaya seer  planted banana saplings. Tulasi Muhurtha and Kabbu Muhurtha were  also performed  on the  occasion.

 

 

The Swamiji first offered Pooja to Lord Ganapathi, Lord Mukhyaprana and Sri Madhwacharya,  and then visited Anantheshwara and Lord Chandramauleshwara Temples to offer prayers.

District in-charge Minister Pramod Madhwaraj inaugurated a data capture swipe machine   and contributed Rs 10,000 to the Mutt.

Speaking on the occasion, the Phalimar Swamiji  elaborated  on the various  schemes  that will be  taken up during his Paryaya period. Top priority will also be accorded to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, the Swamiji informed.

Another Pre-Paryaya ritual, ’Akki Muhurtha’ will be performed on January 20, 2017.

Vinay Kumar Sorake, MLA of Udupi, Raghupathi Bhat, former MLC, Sabhapathi and others were present.
