Udupi : New twist to Chaitra suicide case

Udupi, Oct 5, 2016 : The case of suicide of 18 year old Chaitra from Udupi has taken a new twist with the girl’s father Chandrashekhar alleging that his daughter was sexually abused by her friend and two other youth.

It is said that Chaitra (18) who worked in the NetG Computer Centre was in love with Adarsh and that even the family of Chaitra had agreed to get the two married.

According to sources, Adarsh along with two others namely Sagar and Pawan had sexually abused Chaitra on September 28 after taking her away from the computer centre.

The same evening, she had jumped into the Swarna river.

Investigations are underway on the basis of the complaint of Chaitra’s father.

The family too should have an eye on the children and not believe in whatever they say. Because of the mistake they have lost their daughter. But we cannot stick with all those things and get shattered. Take a stand and fight for justice .
