Udupi : Medical student dies, another critical as bike rams against divider

Udupi, Dec 30,2016 : A young bike rider lost his life while a woman who was riding pillion has sustained serious injuries when their two-wheeler rammed against the divider near  Sharada Hotel at Karavali Circle on December 30, Friday morning.


accident The deceased is Pawan Kumar Raghavan (20) while  the injured student is Sakshi Maheshwari.


She has been admitted to KMC Hospital. Both are medical students. If Pawan was from Hyderabad, Sakshi hails from Ahmedabad.


The accident is learnt to have taken place during the wee hours. Both were found lying on the road with deep wounds. If Pawan had died by then Sakshi was rushed to hospital.

A case has been registered by the local police.
