Udupi : Man stabbed to death over monetary dispute at Cherkady

Udupi, Mar 1, 2017: In a shocking case of daylight murder reported from Cherkady here, a man was stabbed to death, reportedly over a monetary dispute on March 1, Wednesday.

stabbed The deceased is Prakash (38). It is said he was killed by a person named Prashanth Kulal(28) who is now absconding.

Sources said both were found quarrelling over some monetary issue which eventually culminated in the murder of Prakash.

The deceased was working in Shivamogga while Prashanth was a labourer in Cherkady area.

Brahmavar police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the accused.
