Udupi : Devotees offered Ede Snana at Shree Krishna Mutt’s Subrahmanya Gudi

Udupi, Dec 6,2016 :Several devotees offered  Ede Snana at the  precincts of Shree  Subrahmanya Gudi of Shree Krishna Mutt here on December 5, Monday on the occasion of Shree Subrahmanya Shashti.

As part of the ritual which is being held instead of the controversial Made Snana,   Naivedya was fist served on plantain leaves around Subrahmanya Gudi. Late following certain religious rituals which were held  under the leadership of Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt, devotees rolled over the leaves and offered Ede Snana.

Later speaking to reporters, the Pejawar seer said  the Naivedya offered to the Lord  was placed on plantain leaves over which the devotees offered Ede Snana. The Naivedya will then be offered to the cattle and will not  go waste. There is no scope for controversies, we have only followed an age old ritual, he said.
