Udupi, Mar 14,2017:Speaking at the ‘Panchayat Nade – Koraga Samudayadege’ organised by the Alevoor Gram Panchayat, Udupi Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis, said that Udupi is a leader in the human index report. “But, atrocities on Dalits are a history.

A Sahabhojana – community meal – of government officers, elected representatives with the members of the Koraga community was organised at the house of Sundari and Tukra couple at Siddhartha Nagara Koraga Colony of Alevoor. MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, former MLA Raghupathy Bhat, ZP president Dinakar Babu, vice president Sheela Shetty and the DC were served by Koraga women.
