Udupi, Jan 13, 2018: The members of the district unit of the BJP tried to picket the Congress Bhavan in the town on January 13, Saturday and staged a protest near the Brahmagiri Circle demanding apology from Chief Minister Siddaramaiah  and KPCC Working President Dinesh Gundurao for terming the BJP and Sangh Parivar men as terrorists.

MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary who addressed the protestors  said the Congress was trying to divide the society while  the Sangh Parivar  was trying to build the society.

When the BJP men tried to picket the Congress Bhavan, they were prevented by the police who detained them. All of them were later released.

District BJP Chief Mattar Ratnaker Hegde, former MLAs K Raghupathi Bhat, Lalaji R Mendon and others participated in the protest.
