Udupi, Jan 2, 2017 : State Minister for Social Welfare and Backward Classes who made news after his village stay programme in Kundapur taluk wherein he spent a day at the house of a Koraga family on December 31, visited the Sri Krishna Mutt on January 1, Sunday and partook food with devotees.
The Minister also interacted with Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt and sought his blessings.
The Minister who spoke on the occasion, said the Mutt treated all devotees equally.
The Minister sat on the floor along with other devotees and had lunch while some of the leaders including Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes and State Minister Pramod Madhwaraj opted to have food served on a table for them.
