Udupi: 3 of family from Agumbe die in gory road mishap

Udupi, Dec 7, 2014: A gory road mishap involving a car and a lorry at Shivapura in Hiriadka on December 7, Sunday morning has claimed the lives of three persons of a family from Someshwar in Agumbe. Two children sustained injuries, one of them seriously in the mishap.
The deceased are Manohar(42), his wife Swathi (32) and Manohar’s mother Manorama Bhakta (62). Manohar was running a hotel at Agumbe. The couple’s children Sanjana (6) and Manasa(8) sustained injuries in the accident. They have been admitted to Manipal Hospital.
The accident occurred when the family was on way to Agumbe after offering prayers at the Shree Venkatramana Temple at Mulki. It is learnt, all the three died on the spot when the lorry collided head on with their car.
