Vittal: August 7, 2015: Two youths were brutally attacked with lethal weapon by a gang of six members near Saletthoor on Thursday.
The injured youth has been identified as Abhijith (20) son of Vishwanath from Manchi and Vijeeth (22), son of Vitala.
According to the sources, the two youth were going in a bike on Salethoor-Manchi road when gang of six members approached them in a car, stopped them and brutally attacked them with the sharp weapons. The assailants then fled away from the spot.
The locals gathered at the spot and admitted the youths to a nearby hospital. The youths alleged that Shafi and his gang assaulted them.
A case has been registered in Vittla police station.
