Two more Covid-19 positive cases reported in Udupi on Sunday

Mangaluru, March 29, 2020:  Two more positive cases of Covid-19 were reported in Udupi district on Sunday.  Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai in a video, informed public regarding the Covid-19 positive cases in Udupi. The video was shared by Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh on Facebook. 



A 35 year old man from Udupi was admitted to a hospital in Karkala on March 27. He had arrived in Udupi from Dubai on March 17.  Meanwhile, a 29 year old make from Udupi too tested positive for Covid-19 on on Sunday. He had visited Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala for an official work and later showed symptoms.

Following this, he was admitted on March 26. With this, the total number of coronavirus positive cases in Udupi increased to three.

Meanwhile, no positive cases were reported in Dakshina Kannada district.All five samples tested negative for coronavirus. The district has 5,875 persons under home quarantine and seven under treatment.
