Two from Gadag arrested with stolen bike in bejai, Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Feb 05, 2017: Mangaluru City police arrest two youths from Gadag while trying to sell stolen motor bike near KSRTC bus stand in bejai.
The two youths have been identified as Suresh Bhajantri (21) son of Shivappa and Ramanna’s son Phakiresh Eligera (23). Both are from Parasapura village located in Shirahatti taluk of Gadag district. The police have taken Hero Fashion Pro motor bike into their custody from the youth and value of the vehicle is estimated at Rs 55, 000.
The youths have admitted that the bike was stolen from Lakshmeshwara Nagar of Gadag when it was parked before Daya Wine shop. The arrested came to Mangaluru by the stolen vehicle from Lakshmeshwara. The accused had changed the vehicle registration number before reaching the city. A case has been registered at Barke police station.
