Tulu movie Madipu wins National Level Best Regional Film Award

Mangaluru, April 8,2017 : Tulu movie ’Madipu’ directed by Chethan Mundadi and produced by Sandeep Kumar Nandalike has won the National level Best Regional Film Award. This film with a unique story line is the 78th Tulu film released till date.

mudipu The travails of a man belonging to the tribe of Bhootha Kola artistes is depicted in this movie which also highlights the richness of Tulunad culture and tradition.

The film was screened in nine theatres of the district including Suchitra Talkies on March 10. It is expected to be screened once again in Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Dubai and Muscat in the last week of April

Brought out under the banner of Aastha Productions Madipu star cast include MK Mutta, Sardar Satya, Seetha Kote, Sujatha Shetty, Chethan Rai Maani, Jeevandhar Ballal, Sujatha Kotian and others.

In the past Bangar Patler, Koti Chennaya and Gaggara are the Tulu movies which had bagged National level best regional film awards.
