Mangalore, Jan 15, 2014: Tulu film ‘Brahmashri Narayana guruswamy’ produced under the banner of Thungabandra Productions has completed its shooting and it’s in a stage of post production said Rajashekar Kotian, producer & director of the movie.

Speaking at the press meet held at Hotel Srinivas on January 15, Wednesday, he said that the film has been produced with gurubhakti towards the social reformer and not for commercial profit.

He also said that the movie focuses the life of Narayanaguru and way he helped the downtrodden. There is need of few technicalities to be completed and it is set to be released in the first week of April 2014.

The movie has been in and around Dakshina Kannada district including Mutt in Mulky which gave the hallmark of Kerala location. The film has been shot with good technical aspects for good result.

Speaking on the budget of the movie, Kotian said that cost of the production is around Rs 1.30 crore. The cost became more expensive because of the junior artistes, coming from Bangalore and Belgaum, since there are scanty artistes in Mangalore.

Kotian said that the team will initially release film in Mangalore and then in Bangalore, Mumbai, Gujarat, Dubai, Bahrain and are other places, were more number of Mangalorean are residing.
