Torture to animals in Moodbidri Kambala? PETA to complain to SC

Moodbidri, Nov 12, 2017: Animal welfare activists have reportedly alleged that the Kambala buffaloes have been tortured during the 15th Koti Chennaya flood-lit Jodukare Kambala held at Veerarani Abbakka Sanskriti Grama on November 11, Saturday night.
PETA has said that it would file a complaint before the Supreme Court along with evidence on Monday.
It has been gathered that several PETA activists had taken photos and videos of the event by fixing secret cameras and that they have captured pictures of the animals being thrashed,
A total of 137 pairs of buffaloes had taken part in the Kambala.
