Timarody, Sowjanya parents served notices by Kanattur Kshetra to take truth test on Jan 19

Belthangady, Jan 9, 2014: Dheeraj Kella, Mallik Jain and Uday Jain  who have been named accused in the Sowjanya rape and murder case by the parents of the deceased student, have alleged that there has been  malicious propaganda against them.

 Speaking to  the media here on January 8, Wednesday, the three have said that they  have already taken the truth test  at Dharmasthala Kshetra, Annappa Swami Betta, Nelyadi Beedu and Chandranatha Swami Basadi and have now complained to the  Kanattur Kshetra  seeking justice. They also informed that the Kanattur Kshetra has served notices to  Mahesh Shetty Timarody of Prajaprabhutva Vedike, Athrady Amritha Shetty,  Sowjanya’s parents Kusumavathi and Chandappa Gowa, uncle Vittal Gowda and Babu Gowda to appear before the Kshetra on January 19 and take the truth test.

 The three further said that none had pointed fingers towards them or mentioned their names in the complaints in the  first three months after the incident took place. “Later our names were  mentioned in every public meet  with some prejudiced interest,” the three said and added they were mentally agonised over it. They  said they were ready for CBI or even narco analysis test.

Chandan Kamath Dharmasthala, Bhasker Dharmasthala, Balakrishna Poojari and others were present.
