Three Ganja Peddlers detained, 1kg Ganja and Sword seized in Konaje

Konaje May 11, 2016: Konaje Police succeded in detaining three ganja peddlers who were carrying 1kg Ganja illegally in a bike near Mudipu.

As per the information Ganja was transported from Mithakodi and Hoovinakoppala in Kurnad, police was checking the vehicle in a full swing when accused was arriving from Boliyar on two bikes stopped the bike on noticing the police. When police checked the bike they found 1kg of Ganja and sword hidden in the bike.

Police succeeded in apprehending three accused but the main accused managed to flee from the spot. The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Imtiyaz (22) resident of Belma, Mohammed Siraj (23) resident of Uppala and Hafeez (30) resident of Naringana .

Konaje PSI Sudhakar, ASP Bhaskar Kamath, PC’s Santhosh, and others were present in the operation.

The police arrest so many in ganja case but still its going on at large . Is it because the arrested are not given astern punishment.
