Thieves target Fajir church; decamp with Rs 75,000 cash, laptop

Mangaluru, Nov 24, 2015 : Thieves who targeted the Our Lady of Mercy Church at Fajir  during the wee hours of November 24, Tuesday have decamped with nearly Rs 75000 from the church offering box, a laptop and some other items. The theft came to light when the parish priest arrived on Tuesday morning.

The thieves broke open the main door to enter the church building.  However, unlike the recent Kinnigoli bank burglary case, here  the theft has been captured in the CCTV camera  at the church. The theft took place at around 1.30 am as per the CCTV footage. Konaje police are investigating the case.

The people offer some part of their savings to God and the thieves have eye on this money too.Who ever done this will surely deserve for this sin. The technology is so advanced that with the single clue left behind the police will trace the criminals but still knowingly they put themselves in trouble.

The thieves have begun to rob the Holy Places.The do not have respect nor fear.Because the CCTV camera were on they will be behind the bars very soon.
