Thieves make vain bid to burgle jewellery shop at Suratkal

Mangaluru, Dec 20, 2017: A vain bid to burgle a jewellery store named Atlas Jewellery close by the Suratkal police station has come to light on December 20, Wednesday morning.
The shop belonging to Sajeer and his partners was closed as usual at 10 pm on Tuesday night. According to sources, the thieves had tried to enter the shop at around 3.30 am by breaking open the shutters.
Suratkal police have visited the place and are investigating. A complaint has been lodged by the owners of the shop.
