Thieves burgle St.Mary’s Scool in Uppinangady

Puttur, Sep 13, 2017: Thieves burgle Rs. 36,000 cash from St Mary’s school in Uppinangady breaking open the door on september 12, Tuesday at night . The incident came to light on September 13, Wednesday.

The CCTV camera footage in the campus shows that the thieves had gained entry into room of vice principal and the office of the school owned by Our Lady Virgin of the Poor Church on September 12,Tuesday,night. They robbed  cash of Rs 36,000 present in the office and fled from the spot. They haven’t stolen any thing else except cash, but have  damaged the cables.

Case has been registered in Puttur town police station. Finger print experts and dog squad too reached the spot , Investigations are in progress.
