Thieves break car window near Ambalpady Temple, loot Rs. 7.5 lakh.

Udupi: July 24, 2015: Thieves took away a cash bag containing Rs 7.5 lakh from a car smashing its window pane in broad day light on Friday. The owner of the Car is Vasanth, who is a dealer in second hand cars and owns Ganesh Auto firm at Nittur.

Vasanth who visits Ambalpady Janardhan temple every Friday had parked his vehicle behind the temple as there was no parking space because of the heavy rush.

After offering prayer at Temple, Vasanth headed towards his car and was shocked to see that the glass of the car window was smashed and cash amounting 7.5 lakh was looted.

Vasanth informed it to the police, who arrived and investigated.
A case has been registered at Udupi police station.
