There should be no room for hatredness in our minds: Dr. Vinay Hegde

Mangaluru, Feb 03, 2015: The knowledge we gain from education will be a waste, unless we utilise it to serve the society, said Dr. N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University.

 

He was speaking  at the Swasth Manas-Swasth Bharath programme organised for paramedical students as part of Jagruth Bharath  at  Swami Vivekanand Auditorium of Ramakrishna Mutt on February 2, Monday.

Calling upon students to follow the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, Vinay Hegde said  there should be no room for hatredness in our minds. He called upon the paramedical students to  consider treating the suffering as an obligation.

Swami Jithakamanandaji, Chief of Ramakrishna Mutt, Mangaluru stressed the need for a healthy mind in a healthy body.

Dr M Ramgopal Shetty, Chairman of Dr. M.V. Shetty Group of Institutions and many others were present.
