The corporator who worked down the manhole!

Mangalore, June 25, 2020:   It is widely acknowledged that if a worker has to look behind the manhole, another man has to repair the manhole.

 

 

Manohar Shetty, BJP corporator of Kadri Kambala ward in Mangalore, looked so different among the corporators who put on shoes of a drainage worker.

The drainage of Kadri Kambala road was interrupted by rain water flow. The manhole chamber was beside him to find out what the problem was, but the workers refused to go into it. The corporator, Manohar Shetty, went inside the chamber and explained to the workers what the problem was. When the workers did not descend inside the chamber to fix the complication, the corporator was able to repair the sewer by leaving the corporator home with a replacement cloth.

Corporator Manohar Shetty is a great example of what a popular MP should look like.
