Team Jatayu Aerowing wins Best Innovative Design Award

Puttur, March 11, 2020: Team Jayatu Aerowing of Vivekananda College of Engineering & Technology (VCET) Puttur, Secured First place in Best innovative design with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/-. Under the guidance of Prof Ajith K, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering department. A team 7 students participated in the event.

The 5th edition of National Level SAE Aerodesign Challenge was held at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Erode, Coimbatore from 28th February to 1st March, 2020. Total 139 teams registered for the event.

There were total three rounds in the final event Oral presentation, Technical Inspection and Flight test. Total 4 different categorywise prizes for Best Technical presentation, Best Design report, Best Innovative design, Overall championship were awarded to the performers. VCET team secured 6th position in overall championship.

Management, Principal and staff congratulated the team for their otstanding performance.
