Mangaluru Nov 12, 2016: State JD(S) chief HD Kumaraswamy felt that Tanveer Sait gained more importance after he was allegedly caught watching porn during Tippu Jayanthi celebration at Raichur and BJP protest against the same was sidelined.
Addressing media at the circuit house on November 12, Saturday he said that both the parties are busy in playing vote bank politics instead of showing concern towards the problems of the state.
Referring to the controversial Tippu Jayanthi celebration Kumaraswamy said that, was it really required? BJP opposed the celebration but the entire state focus was shifted to Raichur where Tanveer Sait caught watching porn during the program.
Entire state is witnessing several murders for which culprits are still under shell and stringent action should be taken against the accused without politicizing the issue, said Kumaraswamy.
He took potshots on state government for showing lack of concern towards farmer who are facing severe problem and recently state government has submitted report which clearly says that farmers faced huge loss of 16 crores. Siddarammaih visited drought hit area and media reported as it was just a formality as was seen that Chief Minister was not interested to listen to their problem, he added.
Regard to Tanveer Sait row, he said that opposition party are demanding his resignation but he is not ready to give resignation. When BJP members watched porn Siddarmmaih demanded their resignation but today it has been changed and Tanveer should resign.
Mastigudi Movie incident
Kumaraswamy said that, the entire team of Mastigudi movie has took childish decision which claimed two lives of stuntmen. Now on this case producer has been taken to custody but actually production manager should be under bars then stunt director and finally the director. Government should enforce policy regarding dangerous stunts.
