Talapady youth exposes ‘visa fraud’ of city based travel agency

 Mangaluru, May 10, 2015: A young man hailing from Talapady who  was reportedly cheated by a city based visa agency has exposed the fraud and has managed to persuade the agency to refund the amount he had paid to it earlier.

The youth named  Anil Kumar  had  contacted the visa agency named Al Naz Travel Agency  at Manasa Towers in Mangaluru which  after reportedly collecting Rs 1.8 lakh from him had sent him to Maldives with an assurance of the job of an accountant. However upon reaching Maldives  Anil realised that he was  instead given the job of a watchman.

A greatly depressed Anil  returned to India  after five days and with the help of his friends and the media pressurised the firm to refund  the amount which it had collected from him.

The agency which initially refused  has now reportedly agreed to   refund the amount at the earliest.
