Tailor abduction case takes new twist ; victim blames wife, paramour

 Mangaluru, June 21, 2016:  There has been  a new twist to the case of alleged kidnap and assault of a tailor from Mudipu Junction. The victim named Dharanappa Poojary (42) in his complaint with the police has  named his wife Jayalakshmi, her paramour Hafiz and dreaded criminal Rafique as the persons behind his kidnap.

As per the complainant, Hafiz who stayed abroad had an affair with his wife and had  hired  Rafique to kill him so that he does not come in the way  of their affair as Dharanappa used to frequently quarrel with his wife over the issue.

Dharanappa had also alleged that the kidnappers had robbed him of his gold chain and Rs 10,000 cash. Sources said the accused have fled to Bengaluru.  Investigations are underway.
