Moodbidri, July 28, 2018: A person from a village called Murali in Sullia taluk has been booked for posting offensive  pictures o f Hindu Gods and Goddesses through his fake Facebook account.


Ibrahim Khalee..


The accused has been identified as Ibrahim Khaleel. He is presently based in  Abu Dhabi. It has been gathered that he used to open fake FB accounts in Hindu and Muslim names and then post offensive messages and pictures. A complaint  was lodged in Moodbidri police station and other stations against him.

It has also been gathered  that he had even threatened the complainant Latif.  It is learnt Latif had met the Police Commissioner personally and has sought action. Police have already traced several of the  fake accounts of Khaleel and  are investigating the case.
