Sullia: Several monkeys found dead near Guttigaru

Sullia, Dec 15, 2023: Carcasses of over 30 monkeys were found on the roadside on the Guttigaru-Balpe Road leading to the Balpa reserve forest area.

Forest officials have visited the spot. There is a possibility of someone killing the monkeys and dumping the bodies here.

The post-mortem of the dead monkeys are expected to be done today and then the cause of the death would be known.

Forest Department is expected to register a case in this regard.
