Sullia: Congress leader hacked to death; revenge killing suspected

Sullia Sep 23, 2016: Congress leader was hacked to death by a group of miscreants with lethal weapons near Aivarnaadu today September 23 Friday.

Deceased has been identified as Ismail Nelyamajalu, he was a Congress leader at Bellare.

It is said that, Ismail was hacked to death while he was returning from Aivarnaadu mosque after Friday’s Namaz. He was hacked by a group of unidentified miscreants near Ivarnaadu, he died on spot after sustaining serious injuries.

Two years ago, Ismail and his wife Waheeda Ismail, who was the president of Bellare GP were attacked by miscreants. However, this is said to be the sequel to the previous attack. Past enmity is cited as the reason for the murder though it is yet to be confirmed.

SP Bhushan Gulabrao Borase, ASP Dushanth among others are at the spot.

If the he was assaulted some years back means surely he was targeted. may be past grudge. But whoever has done this must be punish severely because such incidents must repeat in future

Oh God Why are people acting so rude and heartless? The action is not taken on the convicted are let on bail which tempts to repeat the same.
